- Step 4 — Airflow: A warm water and fine powder stream (AIRFLOW) removes the disclosed biofilm, staining, and early calculus from all tooth surfaces, including between teeth and below the gumline — without any scraping.
- Step 5 — Perioflow: For patients with deeper pockets, a specialized nozzle delivers the airflow below the gumline to remove subgingival biofilm.
- Step 6 — Piezon: Any remaining calculus (tartar) that can't be removed by airflow is addressed with the PIEZON ultrasonic scaler — a gentler, more precise alternative to traditional hand scalers. The "No Pain" setting minimizes sensitivity.
- Step 7 — Check: Your hygienist confirms all biofilm and calculus have been removed.
